Who we are and what we’re about…
Creative and stylish hand embroidery kits
Annie Morris is an embroidery brand based in Devon, UK. Founded by Annie and Nick Morris, they create modern, painterly and elegant hand embroidery kits and patterns. Annie is the artist and creative force behind the brand bringing a wealth of experience working with fabrics and making high end soft furnishings. Nick, her husband and business partner, brings together both technological expertise and retail management experience.
Inspired by the English countryside and coastal villages where they live and work, Annie founded the business with a clear vision to produce artistic and energising kits with landscape and botanical themes. “It’s about producing a truly original collection that is as beautiful and inspiring for our customers to create as they are for me to design. I wanted to provide a range of kits that would allow a little creative freedom, that whilst being helpful and offering a guide, also have an element of flexibility to interpret in your own way if you wish... Something that you would be proud to display in your home.”
Expertise talent and flair
Annie’s natural flair for breathtaking colour combinations, design talent and use of the finest raw ingredients create expertly crafted patterns and luxury DIY kits which offer the opportunity to learn a new skill with everything you need included. The range of enchanting DIY kits have meticulously chosen elements presented in the highest quality recycled box which makes the most wonderful gift box.
The designs are so much more than just patterns, they offer the chance to create something beautiful without the fear and anxiety that a blank canvas can cause. The linen patterns provide a way to take a moment of ‘me time’ and are ready to stitch into straight away. They are a helping hand with colour palettes, allowing you to stitch intuitively wherever and however you please.
Indulgently slow down and create something stylish for yourself or a loved one and say ‘Wow, I made that!’
