Our artisan collection of contemporary hand embroidery kits contain all that you need to make your own beautiful embroidered hoop art, from the pattern down to the needles! Each kit is beautifully presented in a sturdy Kraft gift box, making a stunning gift and also a perfect way to store your project whilst making it! The designs are carefully recreated from original hand drawn, pen and watercolour sketches by Annie. They have been faithfully printed onto luxuriously soft linen and cotton mix fabric in full colour for you, so there's no need for any tracing or transferring of images and you can get straight into stitching! (yay!) Semi-abstract yet painterly, the embroidery patterns are themed into collections of either Botanical blooms or Coastal themes, all with beautiful muted colour palettes.
You can embrace your own creativity with these kits and embellish as much or as little as you like. There are stitch suggestions with images and a guide for beginners how to create Annie’s simple ‘go-to’ embroidery stitches, but no formal rules! Top quality six stranded threads are included in the provided colour palettes and used in the examples, but please feel free to add as many other colours as you wish to really make your embroidery unique to you.
There is a high quality beech embroidery hoop with brass screws included with each embroidery kit, which you may also use for mounting the embroidery when it is finished. This is a nice and easy way to frame your work and either display on a shelf or simply hang on the wall and admire your craft work!
